GM Schedule

Hi All,

I've been looking forward on the calendar and my family schedule and as of today it looks like these are the dates that I'm available to advise.

This doesn't mean that there can't be meeting on the other Sundays of the months, it just means that I can't be there.

Spirit Play Workshop

Facilitator: Joy Silver, DRE, Beacon Unitarian Church in Port Coquitlam

Spirit Play is a Unitarian adaptation of the techniques of Maria Montessori and Jerome Berryman’s Godly Play to help children in living into their own answers to the existential questions: Where did we come from? What are we doing here? How do we choose to live our lives? What happens when we die? As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own issues after an initial lesson.

Registration: 9 am with time to view the materials and get acquainted over refreshments.

Workshop begins promptly at 9:30 am.

You will become familiar with the philosophy behind the program, the storytelling technique and learn how to create the materials needed for the program.

Cost: $10 to help cover Joy’s expenses
